Will it smudge on oily lids?

Once set, it's made to resist smudging. On oily lids, start on a clean, dry lid and give the line a moment to set before you blink hard or touch your eyes.

Can I still smudge it on purpose?

Yes, right after you apply it. Blend it out with a brush or a fingertip before it sets; after that, it stays where it is.

How do I take it off?

Because it's waterproof, water alone won't do it. Use an oil-based or waterproof makeup remover and hold it on the lid for a few seconds before wiping.

Does it tug on the eyelid?

It's a gel pencil, made to glide rather than drag. If the tip ever feels stiff, warm it for a second between your fingers before you draw.
